Some actors speak beautifully, some move with exceptional grace but what happens when both are present in an actor? A dynamic present body speaks text and the audience wants to listen. Walk into the text ready for discovery and free of judgment. Develop an uncluttered yet highly crafted approach to speaking text.
Through the power of the present body discover the true power of your voice with all of its passion and humanity. In this workshop you will explore speaking language on the breath of a character and being truthful in your gesture and speech.
Please memorize ten to twenty lines from one of Shakespeare’s plays to work with during the workshop. Age and gender are not important. Wear comfortable clothing.
At least two years professional experience is required to participate in this workshop.
