At 206, we are interested in nurturing artists who are actively engaged in exploring and “igniting” their process of creation. Based on the belief that performing artists are simultaneously creator and instrument, the purpose of the Summer Intensive is to offer performing artists the opportunity to build and refine essential performance instincts in the art of physical theatre. The Intensive is designed for professional and pre-professional performing artists who have demonstrated exceptional promise in, rigor for and commitment to their artistry and craft.
This amazing opportunity was funded in part, by the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund as appropriated by the Minnesota State Legislature with money from the vote of the people of Minnesota on November 4, 2008.
